Your new makeup BFF's just dropped in šŸ’„šŸ’¬

These beauty hacks cover it all: smooth skin, flawless foundation and the perfect lip! Get ready faster, have glowing skin and save time & money! šŸ˜āœØ

Hi friends! ā˜•ļø

This past week, things actually felt...dare I say it...smooth šŸ¤Æ.

I managed to clear out some old stuff, finally get my home somewhat organized, and—who even am I right now?! 🤣

But seriously, it’s been a whirlwind of out with the old and in with the new.

And while I was in full decluttering mode, I also stumbled upon a few beauty hacks that have seriously been saving me a ton of time. šŸ’„āœØ

Oh, and let’s talk about doing things that make you uncomfortable and why that’s been my secret sauce for personal growth lately.

More on that later... šŸ˜‰

Beauty hacks that SAVE you time!

BEFORE.

AFTER

If you’re like me and can barely get 15 minutes to yourself, these beauty hacks will be your new BFFs:

  1. Foundation + Glowy Gel Combo āœØ: Mix a small pump of your foundation with a liquid highlighter drops for a dewy, fresh look that says, ā€œI totally got 8 hours of sleep last night.ā€ It’s the easiest way to look awake and put together in seconds.

  2. Blush & Lip Tint in One : I love a multi-stick lip & cheek tint for that perfect I-just-ran-through-a-field-of-flowers flush. It’s the ultimate hack for looking put-together with zero effort.

  3. Foolproof Eyeliner Trick šŸ‘€: Skip the liquid liner and use a dark eyeshadow instead! I love this pressed powder eyeshadow palette (and use the darkest shade to do my liner!) It’s so much easier to control and gives you that soft, natural look. Check out this video to see how I do it! šŸŽ„

  4. Multi-tasking Concealer šŸ„°: Did you know you can use a brightening concealer on your eyelids to even out any redness and double up as an eyeshadow base? It’ll keep your lids looking smooth and bright all day.

  5. Set & Glow šŸŒ¬ļø: I spray my beauty sponge with this perfect fix setting spray before blending out your makeup. It locks everything in place and adds an extra boost of hydration, so your skin looks like you’ve just had a mini facial.

Out with the old…and in with the NEW!

I recently found myself knee-deep in my daughter’s outgrown clothes.

How do kids grow so fast?!

But clearing out the old stuff has been a total mental game-changer. I had NO idea how much clutter was stressing me out until it was gone.

If you’re like me—a very visual person—having stuff everywhere can be overwhelming.

Here are a few tips I found to make decluttering a little less daunting:

Start Small šŸ“¦

Choose a drawer, a corner, or even a single shelf to tackle first. Don’t overwhelm yourself with the whole house. Baby steps.

One In, One Out šŸšŖ

For every new item you bring into your home, one old item needs to go. This will keep you from accumulating even more stuff.

Use Clear Storage šŸ—³ļø

Seeing what’s inside prevents the ā€œout of sight, out of mindā€ clutter monster from taking over. You can find great clear storage options on Amazon! This one is my favorite!

Keep a donation box in your closet. Once it’s full, take it out. Easy and guilt-free decluttering.

Set a Timer ā²ļø

Give yourself 10 minutes every day to tackle a small area. You’ll be surprised at how much you can get done!

If it’s uncomfortable, you’re on the RIGHT track…

Putting myself out there one awkward step at a time.

You know that feeling when you’re about to do something that makes your heart race and your stomach flip? šŸ˜³

That’s exactly where you need to be.

I used to hate that feeling.

I’d be scared of what people would think… worried I’d embarrass myself… or just totally mess up and fall flat on my face. šŸ’«

Every excuse you can think of—I’ve probably had it. šŸ™ˆ

But then I realized all those fears were holding me back from things that could’ve brought me joy or helped me grow.

Recently, I finally signed up for a class I’ve been terrified to take for years. (I’ll spill the details soon, but let’s just say it involves talking in front of a bunch of people. Eek!) šŸ˜…

Before the first class, I was already planning my escape route: šŸƒā€ā™€ļø

What if I say something dumb?

What if I get judged?

What if I look like I don’t belong?ā€

But guess what?…

I did it anyway, and I left feeling something I hadn’t felt in forever—proud. šŸ’Ŗ

When you’re stepping into something new, it’s natural to put your guard up and shield yourself—especially when you’re feeling vulnerable.

What did I do instead? I stepped into that class, I left my ego at the door. I went in with the mindset: ā€œI’m here to learn and do something that excites me!ā€

Doing what scares you doesn’t just make you stronger—it shows you what you’re really capable of. šŸ’–

So if there’s something nagging at you—a dance class, a career move, or a passion project you’ve been dreaming about… this is your sign. āœØ

The worst that can happen is you feel a little awkward (we’ve all been there).

But the best?

You might just find something that lights you up in ways you never expected. šŸ”„
