The K-beauty secrets they don't want you to know ✨👀

Here’s how I went from dry patches to dewy perfection and glass looking skin with K-beauty!

In partnership with

Hi beautiful! ☕️

Last week? Let’s just say life was lifing.

You know, when everything feels off, the to-do list is multiplying like rabbits, and by Friday, you’re like, Can I just quit adulting and live under a blanket? 😩 Been there.

But this week? Total plot twist.

I decided to hit pause, focus on the little joys, and honestly? It’s been a whole vibe.

Today, I’m sharing all the things keeping me sane:

  • K-beauty tips that have my skin glowing (seriously, I can’t stop staring).

  • The tiny wins making life feel lighter and brighter.

  • And some existential musings (because flying 30,000 feet in the air will do that to you).

More on that in a bit… 😉

K-beauty tips I CAN’T live without…

When your skin glows so much it could guide Santa’s sleigh… thank you, K-beauty! 🖐💧

Let’s be real, my skin has its moments.

Between stress and lack of sleep, I was dealing with dullness, dryness, and just blah skin.

But these K-beauty hacks? Total lifesavers

Here’s what’s been working for me:

Double Cleansing
By the end of the day, my face feels like it’s wearing a layer of life’s chaos. I always start with this makeup melting oil cleanser, then follow with this purifying foam cleanser—double cleansing should be your skin’s BFF!
Tip: Take your time with the oil cleanser — a solid minute makes all the difference. 🌱

Glow On The Go
These K-beauty pads have been saving my skin on days when it feels dull and lifeless (you know those days when makeup just doesn’t sit right?). I’ve been using them morning and night, and my skin is literally glowinginstantly. No waiting.
TIP: Use this collagen pad underneath makeup for the glowiest skin. Watch this video to see my hack on how to use them!

Glass Skin
I used to rush through my skincare, slapping on moisturizer and calling it a day. But this layering approach is giving me all the glow— here’s my current lineup: enriched anti-aging water (seriously, I don’t think I can live without this one), renewing essence, bi-phase HA serum and this smoothing day cream with SPF (also my mom’s fav!) — has my skin feeling hydrated and looking dewy.
Tip: Pat, don’t rub. Your skin deserves love, not a wrestling match.

Slugging
My skin gets dry patches that scream for help, especially with the colder weather. Sealing everything in with this incredible multi-use cica balm at night has been a lifesaver. Yes, I use it even for my kids diaper rash, it’s that good.
Tip: Don’t overdo it if you’re acne-prone. A little goes a long way. 🚪

Rice Water Rinse
When my mom first told me about this 10 years ago, I was skeptical. Soaking rice in water overnight and using it as a rinse sounded a bit out there, but now? I’m obsessed. My skin feels soft, looks brighter and such a budget-friendly hack!
Tip: Any leftover water goes straight into my plants — and they’re thriving. Coincidence? Maybe. 🤫

It’s the little things, isn’t it?

Sometimes, those tiny moments are the ones that pull you out of a funk and remind you that life’s not so bad.

Here are 5 things putting a smile on my face this week (and honestly, keeping me sane):

  1. Teacher Gifts: Wrapping thank-you’s for my kids’ daycare teachers gave me all the warm fuzzy feels. Choosing the wrapping paper and tying bows? Instant joy. I’m so grateful to the teachers that care for our kids. 🎁

  2. Summer Dreams: I can’t stop thinking about beach days and sundresses instead of super puffs. Winter being optional? Yes, please. Because a little daydream never hurt anyone. ☀️

  3. Midday Breaks: Around 3 PM, I hit a wall. A quick tidy-up, fresh air, or a podcast totally resets my energy. 🎧

  4. Coffee Escapes: There’s a quiet little cafe in my neighbourhood that I love sneaking off to. I grab a croissant and coffee and it feels like a mini vacation. ☕️

  5. Decluttering Wins: Tackling the kitchen junk drawer was oddly therapeutic. Six months unused? It’s out. My space and mind feel lighter. 🌈

  6. Better Sleep: Finding time for a quick 20-minute nap has been a game-changer for me. When I need to fall asleep fast, BetterHelp makes it so easy to unwind and recharge. I’m out in minutes and wake up ready to tackle the rest of the day.

The Sleep App That Forbes' Rated 5 Stars 😱

The app Forbes’ said helps "users achieve high-quality sleep by creating and maintaining effective sleep routines.” is back with new sounds and features!

Now featuring over 300 unique sounds to build to fall asleep to, a personalized sleep tracker and more. It’s no wonder over 65 million people have downloaded this app for better sleep.

Existential thoughts (and keeping perspective)

Is it just me, or does being 30,000 feet in the air make you question your entire existence? ✈️🤔

Ever watch that Rick and Morty episode about existentialism? If you haven’t it’s Season 1, Episode 8.

It hit me: we’re tiny blips in the universe. 🌌 Weirdly, that thought feels…comforting.

When my 2-year-old is yelling “NO” for the millionth time 😤 or work spirals out of control, I remind myself: this too shall pass.

In 10 years, will I even remember this? Probably not. So why let it ruin today?

And then I started thinking…if we’re all just tiny specs on this floating rock, what do I actually want to leave behind?

It’s not the to-do list. It’s not perfection. It’s the laughs with my kids, the memories made with family, and feeling like I lived on my own terms. 🌟

It also helps me let go of the little things — like the messy house or the email I forgot to send.

Life is so much bigger than that.

My perspective reset tips:

  • Zoom Out: Imagine your life as a movie. What’s the big picture?

  • Gratitude Goggles: Write down three small wins today. 🌿

  • The 10-Year Game: Ask, “Will this matter in 10 years?” If not, let it go.

  • Be Present: Pause. Breathe. Reset. 🙏

  • Find the Fun: Dance in the kitchen. Call your friend. Open that expensive bottle of wine (you don’t need a special occasion!). Life’s too short not to enjoy the little things. 🎉

It’s not always easy to keep this mindset, but when I do, it feels like a weight is lifted.

It clears space for what truly matters — joy, connection, and those moments that make life feel full and beautiful.

See you next week. 💖
