Here's your secret to glass skin this winter ❄️✨
Say goodbye to winter dryness and hello to radiant, glass skin with a routine designed to keep your complexion hydrated and glowing all season
Hey beautiful, ☕️
The holidays are in full swing, and can we just agree on one thing?
‘Tis officially the season of pure chaos. 🌪️
Between chasing the perfect gifts, stopping the kids from turning the house into a war zone (just mine?), and trying to look like I have my life together—it’s A LOT.
If you’re feeling the same, you’re not alone.
This week, I’ve got some life-saving winter skincare tips, a gift guide to make shopping a breeze, and a little pep talk for when you’re on the verge of a holiday breakdown.
More on that later… 😉
Say goodbye to DRY winter skin…
Does winter wreck your skin too?
Every year, mine turns into a dry, red, irritated mess, and I used to think that was just how it had to be.
But guess what? It doesn’t! 🙌
I’ve got some life-changing tips to share.
BEFORE: Dry, irritated skin | AFTER: Glass looking glow |
Here’s how I turned my winter skin struggles into a glowing, glass skin:
Double Cleanse (but smarter)
I swapped my Clarisonic for a silicone cleansing tool, and it’s been a total game-changer. Gentle but effective, it leaves my skin so clean.
TIP: Use it with an oil cleanser to melt away makeup first, then a gel cleanser—you skin with thank you!Barrier-Building Cream
Winter’s dry air destroys your skin barrier. This incredible barrier butter has been my go-to for repairing and hydrating. I’ve been wearing it everyday!
TIP: Pat it onto damp skin at night for maximum hydration.Slugging (the right way)
Seal everything in with this multi-purpose balm before bed—it locks in moisture like nothing else. If you’ve got redness and irritation. Try this!
TIP: Use a small amount and avoid your T-zone if you’re prone to breakouts.Sunscreen, even in winter
My dermatologist swears by pro-collagen sunscreen, and now so do I. What a difference it made in my skin!
TIP: Don’t skip SPF—yes, even in the winter. It protects your skin from irritation and redness.Layer Serum + Essence
Winter had my skin feeling like sandpaper until I started layering on this firming and resurfacing essence and brightening serum—game-changer for hydration.TIP: Apply the lighter essence first, then the serum for that dreamy glass-skin glow.
The Gift Guide You ACTUALLY Need 🎁
If you’re like me, holiday shopping always starts with the best intentions—until you’re frantically Googling “best gifts for literally anyone” at 11 p.m.
The struggle is real.
But don’t worry—I’ve done the scrolling for you.
Whether it’s for him, her, the kids, or the parents, these ideas are fun, functional, and guaranteed to impress (or at least not get shoved into a closet).
For Him
Why do men always lose their wallets? I got Jeff this slim smart wallet with a tracker, and it’s been a total lifesaver. Same goes for this key case organizer—perfect for the guy who misplaces everything (or can’t find anything). Add this to keep his timepieces organized and a gadget station to declutter his nightstand. Practical, stylish, and guaranteed he’ll actually use them!
For Her
Every woman loves a cute tote that holds everything. Water bottles, snacks, and even her entire life? Check. I have the blue one! Add this makeup organizer that’s cute and easy to clean!. Another winner? A chic travel bag for the jet-setter in your life or a luxe self-care kit for some much-needed “me time.” 😉
For the Kids
Kids just want fun, right? This light-up toy makes bedtime less of a battle, while this building set keeps them busy and quiet (thank me later). For older kids, grab this glow in the dark toy that’s fun and educational, or STEM toy that sparks creativity and keeps them entertained for hours.
For the Parents
My favorite espresso maker makes a great gift for busy parents and grandparents! It’s easy, fancy, and makes them feel like baristas. Also, a robo-vacuum—because cleaning should not be their problem anymore. Add this massage tool for ultimate relaxation and this heated throw for their TV marathons, and you’ve officially nailed it.
Holiday Burnout is REAL.
Let me set the scene: my 2 year old got sick, her entire class got some super bug, and my to-do list basically mocked me.
Add holiday shopping, organizing Secret Santa’s, holiday get-togethers and keeping the kids from tearing the house apart, and I was this close to Googling, “Can moms legally move to Cabo?” 😂
The truth is, holiday burnout is REAL because moms are out here doing everything for everyone.
But here’s what’s been helping me (kinda) keep it together:
Laugh it off: When your kid sneezes on you mid-email, just laugh. It’s either that or cry, and laughing makes you look less crazy.
Hide for a break: Five minutes in the pantry with chocolate? Therapy. Add coffee, and it’s practically a spa day.
Lower the bar: Tissue paper instead of proper wrapping? Genius. A house that’s clean-ish but still chaotic? Totally fine.
Remember it’s a phase (with kids): I keep thinking about this IG video I watched last week: “We’ll get back what we had before kids but we’ll never get back what we have now.” Cheesy? Yes. True? Also yes.
We’re all just surviving the holidays.
You’re doing amazing—even if it feels like total chaos. You got this! 💪 💖
