But listen, I am not going down without a fight. š

6 beauty hacks that keep you fresh

Us in 2017āwhen sleep was optional, my brows were fuller, and my skin needed zero effort. š #ThenVsNow
You ever catch your reflection and do a double takeālike, was this lighting always this rude?
Suddenly, things look a littleā¦ off.
Brows are fading.
Lips feel smaller.
ā¦and somehow my go-to makeup routine just isnāt hitting the same.
Good news: a few small tweaks make a huge difference.
Here are my hacks:
Brow resurrection ā Why did my brows thin out and fade just when I needed them most? This brow serum brings them back to life, making them look full and fluffy instead of drawn-on. Bonus: itās a 4 month supply! āØ
Tip: Use it for over-plucked or thinning areas. Leave on for 2-3 minutes!
Lips need love ā One day, my lips were plump, and the next? Gone. A hydrating lip oil balm (instead of drying lipstick) keeps them looking soft and smooth. Watch this video if you want to know why 1.3 million people also love it. š
Tip: Choose a shade one tone deeper than your natural lip for the most flattering, youthful look.
Skip the heavy foundation ā Nothing says āIām agingā like cakey foundation. I switched to a hydrating skin tint and suddenly looked fresh, rested, and not like I was trying too hard. I seriously canāt believe how natural, smooth and glassy my skin looks! š
Tip: Apply with fingers or a damp sponge for the most natural, skin-like finish.
Fix the tired eye look ā No matter how much I sleep, my under-eyes still scream exhaustion. The trick? This brightening concealer + this fix setting spray on a sponge. No creasing, no dullnessājust fresh, awake-looking eyes. š
Tip: Apply concealer only to the inner and outer corners to lift without looking heavy.
Hydration is everything ā No matter how much moisturizer I used, my skin still looked meh. Turns out, a hydrating essence before moisturizer makes everything actually absorb. This is one of my momās favourites! Now my skin is glowy, bouncy, and thriving. š¦
Tip: Pat it in instead of rubbingāyour skin drinks it up better that way.
These little tweaks make a big difference.

Your skin knows what you ateā¦
I used to think skincare was enough.
Just slap on some serums and call it a day.
But no matter what I did, my skin still looked tired, puffy, or just... off.
Hereās what Iāve found:
Balance blood sugar ā If my energy is crashing and my skin is looking dull, sugar is the culprit. A protein-packed breakfast and a little apple cider vinegar before meals keeps my levels stable, my cravings in check, and my skin glowing. š
Hydration is more than water ā I used to think water was enough, but if my electrolytes and minerals are off, my skin still looks dry and tired. I started adding electrolytes and healthy fats and now my face actually looks hydrated. š„
Prioritize deep sleep ā I used to think āas long as I get 8 hours, Iām fine.ā Nope. Quality sleep is what matters. Blue light before bed? Aging me. Waking up at 3 AM? Cortisol imbalance. Magnesium before bed = actual beauty sleep. š“
Move in ways that feel good ā I used to punish myself with workouts that left me exhausted, but now? Walking, Pilates, and stretching keep me energized without wrecking me. š¶āāļø
What we do inside shows up in our skin, energy, and mood.

This past week wasā¦a mess

Proof that moms donāt get sick days. Also, send tissues and caffeine. āļøš¤§ #RunningOnEmpty
Our whole house got hit with some nasty bug, and weāre just now crawling back to normal.
Parenting sick kids? Brutal.
Being sick while parenting sick kids? Actually impossible.
And to make things even better, my youngest only wanted me. Not Dad. Not snacks. Just me.
So I spent the entire week as a human pillow, tissue dispenser, and 24/7 comfort provider while also trying not to collapse myself.
And you know what? This happens a lot.
My kids are young, so they get sick all the time, and every single time it feels like I am drowning in it.
But something clicked for me this time.
I realized that when youāre in it, everything feels permanentālike youāre going to be sick forever, tired forever, stuck forever.
But thatās not true.
Itās just a phase.
And like all phases, it will end.
So now, instead of spiralling into why is this my life?!
Iām reminding myself:
This is just right now, not forever.
The fact that itās hard doesnāt mean Iām doing something wrong.
Even when it feels like Iām not doing enough, I actually am.
And I think this applies to everythingāwhether youāre exhausted, overwhelmed, or just feeling stuck.
Even when it feels like youāre going nowhere, youāre still moving forward.
Sometimes, just making it through the tough days is enough.
So if youāre in one of those seasons, just knowāit wonāt last forever.
Youāre doing better than you think, even on the hard days.
One day, youāll look back and realize you were growing the whole time. So take a deep breath, give yourself some grace, and keep going.
