I haven’t been sick all year until this past weekend (Christmas). Of all the holidays, why did it have to be Christmas? Oh well. I’m still recovering as it was a pretty nasty one but for those of you who may have caught a cold or the flu, I wanted to share with you my go to cold and flu remedies. All of the remedies have helped a lot. I hope you haven’t gotten sick, but if you have – I hope these tips help! xo, Jen
- Freshly grated ginger
- Juice of a lemon wedge
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Add hot water and steep for 10 minutes
Drink 3 times a day.
- Crush thyme leaves
- add them to a pot of boiling water (5 cups)
- boil for a few minutes
Drink once a day.
*This is a german holistic remedy and it works! Helps with chest congestion and coughs.
