Sock bun days are my favorite, mainly because I don’t have to do my hair that day…and that day is TODAY! Yipee!  A tip: try not washing your hair everyday, instead try every other day or every two days as over washing can lead to split ends and dry hair.  It’s been two days since I’ve washed my hair and today I am going to rock the sock bun, mainly because I  prefer having my hair out of my face most days and its super easy to put together!  If you want to learn how to create this bun and similar side buns.  Watch my video:

The same rule applies with the sock bun on top of your head:
STEP ONE: Put your hair in a high ponytail.
STEP TWO: Roll the sock donut just as you would normally and VOILA!

If you have layered hair like me, you may get some hairs around the sock bun that stick out, that’s okay! Just push them back into the sock bun.  For a sturdier bun (a tip for those of you who do somersaults and double sow cows all day) try using a few bobby pins to secure your bun at the base of the bun (you can put the bobby pins through the sock bun, it wont break!). Check out my sock bun here!

I hope you are all having a great Thursday.  Remember,  you have the power everyday to make it a bright day! I hope your day is filled with love and laughter! Big hugs from me to you!  xoxo Jen
